This is a richly layered composition- the music is wonderful- and the texts really work well with it. It feels like it's pushing Yiddish music forward while staying connected to the past. I don’t have the gift of prophecy so I can’t predict the future- but I would not be surprised if years from now this will cunt among the classics of the repertoire of Yiddish music.
